We are a well established private office in the heart of San Diego . We are seeking a team-oriented Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As a RA or RDA, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and providing quality dental care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Chairside Assistance:
- Assist the dentist during all dental procedures, including restorations, crowns, and inlays/onlays.
- Prepare dental instruments, materials, and the patient for treatment.
- Ensure infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and workspaces.
2. CEREC Expertise:
- Take digital impressions using CEREC technology for single-visit dental restorations.
- Design and fabricate crowns, veneers, inlays/onlays, and other restorations using CEREC CAD/CAM software.
- Operate and maintain the CEREC milling unit to produce high-quality dental restorations.
- Educate patients on the CEREC process and the benefits of same-day restorations.
3. Patient Care:
- Provide pre- and post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Ensure patient comfort throughout procedures.
- Manage patient records and update treatment plans accordingly.
4. Practice Management:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory.
- Monitor dental supplies and equipment, ensuring all material including CEREC materials are available.
- Follow up with patients regarding their restorations and next steps in treatment.
5. Technology & Equipment:
- Troubleshoot basic CEREC software or hardware issues.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in CEREC technology and incorporate them into the practice.
Flexibility is a must at this position as you may have to put in a bit of overtime.
