American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CCU position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and independent telemetry rhythm strip interpretation skills.

Work in a 17-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU) with a strong cardiac focus and occasional MICU overflow patients
-
Average patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1
-
12-hour night shifts (PM shift, 36 hours per week)
-
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
-
No travel pairs accepted for this assignment

Active MA RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of previous critical care experience required

Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Telemetry test required on day 1 of assignment

EPIC EMR experience preferred
-
CCRN certification preferred

Two professional references required, including one at the manager level with a performance evaluation within the last 12 months

Must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B) prior to starting

Provide critical care nursing services with a strong emphasis on cardiac patient care
-
May care for overflow patients from the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and offered a local pay rate
