CNC Machinist Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating CNC machinery. This role is critical in producing precision components and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The CNC Machinist will work with various materials, and will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, as well as performing quality checks on finished products.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations.
- Utilize measuring tools to ensure accuracy of dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure parts meet design specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various machining tasks.
- Conduct quality control inspections on machined products to ensure compliance with standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Mill Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles and lean manufacturing techniques.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and other machining parameters.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with welding is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
