Overview
Pho House of Andover is looking for a friendly, DEPENDABLE, and energetic Front Counter Associate to become part of our growing restaurant team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
We highly value candidates with previous Vietnamese restaurant experience who understand Vietnamese cuisine, customer flow, and fast-paced takeout service.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly as they arrive and assist them with their needs
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale systems
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front counter area, including tidying displays and cleaning surfaces
- Provide information about services such as dry cleaning, laundry, or hospitality offerings when applicable
- Assist customers with inquiries about products or services, ensuring a positive experience
- Support team members with basic tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance A MUST
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Restaurant or cashier experience preferred
- Previous experience working in a Vietnamese restaurant is highly desired
- Familiarity with Vietnamese cuisine, pho menu items, and boba drinks is a major plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Basic cleaning skills to maintain a tidy front counter area
