Electrician – Residential & Commercial Service
Blessed Electric LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Electrician to join our growing team. This position focuses on residential and commercial service work, including installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and electrical upgrades. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and excellent customer service.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Diagnose electrical problems and complete repairs efficiently.
- Read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and schematics.
- Use meters, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
- Ensure all work complies with the NEC and applicable local electrical codes.
- Perform electrical work for service calls, renovations, remodels, and small construction projects.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system configurations.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other diagnostic equipment to perform accurate electrical testing and repairs.
- Follow strict electrical safety procedures to protect yourself and others from hazards associated with electrical systems.
- Collaborate on renovation projects or construction sites by installing new wiring or upgrading existing systems according to project specifications.
Qualifications
- Electrical Service Technician Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an electrical technician or electrician in residential and commercial service environments.
- Strong experience diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex electrical issues using meters, multimeters, circuit tracers, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and construction plans.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70, the National Electrical Code, and applicable Florida and local electrical codes.
- Experience working safely with energized equipment, electrical panels, branch circuits, service equipment, and high-voltage systems within the technician’s training and qualifications.
- Familiarity with electrical service calls, remodeling projects, renovations, new installations, and active construction sites.
- Ability to clearly explain electrical problems, recommended repairs, and available options to residential and commercial customers.
- Strong attention to safety, workmanship, productivity, and customer service.
- Ability to work independently, manage assigned service calls, document completed work, and maintain an organized service vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean, insurable driving record.
- Must be dependable, professional, and available for occasional overtime or emergency service calls.
- Monday to Friday.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
