This is a temp to hire position
Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced Welder for our fabricating client.
Responsibilities
- Operates welding machine that feeds wire to bond materials
- Plans work by interpreting blueprints
- Determines welding position and type of metal to be fused
- Selects and sets up welding equipment
- Ensures welds meet standards and specifications
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of the company’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Location: Hobart, IN
Schedule/Shift Details
This position will be a first shift position.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Certificate or Associate degree in welding
- Minimum 1 year experience in welding
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
- Crane operation certification required
- Forklift operation experience preferred, but not required
