Jaxson's Ice Cream Parlor is currently seeking experienced, dependable, and hands-on Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) Assistant Managers for a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and ice cream operation.
This is a working management position. Applicants must be comfortable actively participating in daily operations alongside staff while helping maintain company standards, guest experience, organization, communication, and overall shift execution.
We are looking for individuals who understand professionalism, accountability, urgency, and the importance of maintaining proper communication and operational structure within an established management team.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Assistant Managers are expected to:
- Lead by example through active participation on the floor and/or in the kitchen
- Assist with daily shift operations in high-volume conditions
- Support and communicate directly through the General Manager regarding operational matters, staffing concerns, and daily execution
- Help ensure company procedures and operational standards are consistently followed
- Maintain professionalism, organization, and communication throughout shifts
- Work directly with staff while reinforcing policies, expectations, and accountability
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Assist with shift transitions, side work completion, cleanliness standards, and operational support
- Maintain composure and professionalism during busy periods
This is not a sit-down administrative role or an upper management position. Candidates must be comfortable being fully engaged in daily restaurant operations while working within an established management structure and chain of communication.

FOH ASSISTANT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Floor supervision and guest service support
- Assisting servers, hosts, bussers, and fountain staff during service
- Managing wait flow and dining room operations
- Supporting staff accountability and shift organization
- Communicating operational needs and concerns through the General Manager
- Ensuring service standards and professionalism are maintained
- This position is geared toward evenings & closings

BOH ASSISTANT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with kitchen operations and line execution
- Supporting cooks, prep staff, and dish staff during service
- Ensuring food quality, ticket times, cleanliness, and organization standards
- Maintaining kitchen professionalism and operational consistency
- Following established systems, recipes, and procedures
- Communicating kitchen operational matters through the General Manager
- This position is geared toward evenings and opening shifts.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
- Have prior restaurant leadership experience
- Have open availability
- Be available for days, nights, weekends, holidays, and summer shifts
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Be able to read, speak, and understand English
- Be able to comprehend and properly execute instructions and operational procedures
- Be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Be able to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Maintain professional uniform and grooming standards
- Work well within an established management hierarchy and team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High-volume restaurant experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and productive under pressure
- Experience with Toast POS is a plus
- Kitchen leadership experience preferred for BOH applicants
