Position Overview
The Director of Development and Donor Engagement leads a comprehensive philanthropic lifecycle
strategy, balancing proactive growth initiatives with sophisticated stewardship to secure new investment
and deepen long-term donor loyalty.
This role is responsible for directing the donor journey through personalized communication, strategic
recognition, and high-impact events aligned with organizational priorities. Working collaboratively, the
Director ensures donor interactions are proactive, timely, and mission-driven, while maintaining accurate
records and stewarding donor intent. The position leverages data and predictive analytics to inform
growth strategy, improve retention, and achieve ambitious fundraising goals.
This role requires strong strategic planning, communication, and project management skills, along with a
commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and excellence in philanthropic service.
Essential Job Functions
Annual Giving Strategy and Execution
- Develop and manage a comprehensive annual giving strategy in support of Cascia Hall’s One Cascia
annual fund
- Oversee all annual fund initiatives, including direct mail, digital appeals, alumni outreach, and special
campaigns
- Manage and grow Cascia Hall’s annual giving society to strengthen leadership-level participation and
donor engagement
