We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with Marriott brand experience to drive sales while overseeing the successful planning and execution of events.
Responsibilities
- dentify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
- Meet or exceed room-night, group, and revenue goals.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing within hotel guidelines.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate, association, government, sports, tour, or social accounts.
- Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Sell guest room blocks, meeting rooms, banquet space, and catering services.
- Coordinate with event planning, catering, and operations teams to ensure successful execution.
- Conduct hotel tours for prospective clients.
- Research market trends and competitor activity.
- Generate leads through Marriott's sales systems and personal networking.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Requirements (Must Have)
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience with a Marriott-branded hotel.
- Proficiency in Marriott sales systems, including CI/TY and Marriott FSPMS/FPMS.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Marriott sales programs, account management processes, and reporting tools.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving hotel revenue growth.
