RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership: Coordinate media and marketing efforts across staff, volunteers, vendors, and interns, with opportunities to grow into greater leadership responsibilities.
- Impact Storytelling: Create compelling stories that showcase GCH’s mission, programs, people, and impact, inspiring community engagement and investment.
- Marketing & Communications: Support and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy across email, social media, web, print, and digital channels.
- Email Marketing: Develop engaging email campaigns that strengthen relationships with donors, volunteers, partners, and community members and drive giving, volunteerism, and partnership opportunities.
- Campaigns: Coordinate and execute marketing and fundraising campaigns that increase awareness, engagement, and support for GCH.
- Social Media: Create, schedule, and manage mission-driven content while engaging with audiences and tracking performance.
- Partnership & Donor Engagement: Develop communications that highlight the impact of partnerships and giving and encourage businesses, organizations, and individuals to engage and invest.
- Content Creation: Create written, visual, video, and graphic content for email, social media, newsletters, website, events, and other communications.
- Digital Marketing: Support website updates, SEO, and digital strategies that expand GCH’s reach and connect audiences to opportunities to engage.
- Additional duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or a related field.
- Experience developing engaging email, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate impact and inspire action.
- Experience creating content for digital channels and tracking engagement and KPIs.
- Ability to support translation and adaptation of communications into other languages, such as Spanish, using language skills, AI-powered tools, or other available resources.
- Comfortable learning and using AI and emerging technologies to improve content, efficiency, and marketing outcomes.
- Working knowledge of
- email marketing
- social media
- website content
- SEO, analytics
- Canva
- And basic photo/video editing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Monday.com.
Preferred: Nonprofit, fundraising, community engagement, or partnership experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms stoop, talk and hear
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. or more
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to work occasional evenings and/or weekends
- Shift may be adjusted periodically depending on business demands
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
