Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute engaging, developmentally appropriate activities tailored to infants’ age groups, focusing on sensory exploration, motor skills, and early socialization.
- Supervise children closely at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being through attentive child supervision and classroom management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that promotes learning and comfort for infants.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to foster trust and collaboration.
- Follow all mandated reporting laws and health protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety procedures.
- Support individual developmental needs by working with children with disabilities or special needs in accordance with best practices in special education.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent care routines, behavior management strategies, and classroom standards are upheld.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants in a daycare center or early childhood education setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development instruction, behavior management, and classroom experience with young children.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and compassion.
- Demonstrated commitment to early childhood education principles and caregiving best practices.
