Sales Associate & Digital Marketing Specialist
Overview
The Watchmaker is seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Sales Associate & Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This position combines retail sales, customer service, digital marketing, inventory management, and online sales. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with customers both in person and online.
As a member of our team, you will assist customers with watches, jewelry, knives, fountain pens, and other specialty products while helping expand our online presence through social media, photography, and e-commerce.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in-store, over the phone, and online.
- Assist customers with product sales, repairs, and special orders.
- Create, photograph, and publish product listings for our website and online marketplaces.
- Manage and maintain the company's social media platforms by creating engaging content and responding to customer inquiries.
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns to promote products, services, and special events.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all inventory is completed by the 5th of each month.
- Process incoming merchandise and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom.
- Follow up with customers regarding repairs, special orders, and completed work.
- Work closely with management to improve customer satisfaction and grow the business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and social media platforms.
- Experience with online marketplaces such as eBay, Shopify, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Photography experience for product listings is preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Interest in watches, jewelry, knives, fountain pens, or other collectibles is a plus.

Compensation
This position includes an hourly wage. In addition, employees have the opportunity to earn commission on qualifying sales. Commission is based on individual sales performance and provides an opportunity to increase overall earnings.
