Overview
We are on the looking for a friendly, energetic Restaurant Server to join our vibrant Restaurant team . In this role, you'll be the face of our restaurant, creating memorable dining experiences by providing attentive and personalized service. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth start to their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently and correctly.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including cocktail and spirits service.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage preparation.
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Experience
- Previous food service or hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or high-volume environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to serve guests confidently.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build guest rapport.
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
