Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Video Producer / Shooter / Editor who can concept, shoot, and edit high-quality commercial content for TV broadcast and digital platforms. This role owns the full production process from start to finish—pre-production planning, on-set execution, post-production editing, and final delivery across multiple formats.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on visual storyteller with strong technical expertise in camera operation, lighting, audio, editing, and post-production workflows. You should be equally comfortable on set behind the camera as you are in the editing suite delivering polished, broadcast-ready content.
This role requires broadcast commercial experience and a strong understanding of both traditional TV advertising standards and modern social media content formats. You will also collaborate with an in-house creative team and step into a leadership role during high-volume production periods, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality across all video output.
Responsibilities
- Produce, shoot, and edit professional-quality commercials for TV broadcast and digital advertising campaigns
- Capture a wide range of content including commercials, interviews, testimonials, social ads, behind-the-scenes footage, and branded storytelling content
- Operate professional cinema and DSLR camera systems, lenses, lighting, audio, stabilization tools, and production gear
- Plan and execute full production shoots including shot lists, lighting design, camera movement, and on-set workflow
- Edit video content for multiple platforms including TV, paid social, organic social, YouTube, and web
- Perform color correction, audio cleanup, basic motion graphics, captions, and versioning for multiple deliverables
- Export and format final deliverables to meet broadcast specifications and platform-specific requirements
- Adapt content across multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.)
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to turn concepts into finished video assets
- Maintain organized project files, footage management, and structured post-production workflows
- Coordinate with in-house creators, editors, and shooters to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Provide creative direction on set, including framing, lighting, pacing, performance, and visual storytelling
- Review and refine work from other creators to ensure consistency and quality standards
- Support production scaling during high-volume periods while maintaining deadlines and quality
- Communicate clearly across teams and help keep projects moving efficiently from concept to delivery
Required Experience
- Proven experience producing and editing commercials for TV broadcast (required)
- Strong technical knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting setups, composition, and audio capture
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools
- Understanding of broadcast delivery standards (codecs, frame rates, audio levels, exports, and specs)
- Experience producing content for digital and social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and paid media campaigns
- Ability to independently manage full video production cycles from shoot to final export
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple simultaneous projects
- Strong visual storytelling skills with attention to pacing, composition, and polish
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience producing commercials in industries such as legal, automotive, sports, entertainment, or direct-response advertising
- Ability to direct on-camera talent, clients, and non-actors
- Motion graphics experience including lower thirds, captions, logo animations, and simple VFX
- Familiarity with TV station specs and media buying deliverables
- Experience with both studio and on-location/run-and-gun production environments
- Leadership experience managing or coordinating small creative teams
- Owns or has access to professional production equipment (camera, lighting, audio gear)

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
