Quality Assurance Specialist
Salary Range $24.85/hr - $32.80/hr plus an Elite Benefit Package

Required Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent AND
5 years of experience working with vulnerable populations, which must include writing reports and assessing information to make decisions or recommendations
Associate's degree in a Human Services related field AND
3 years of experience working with vulnerable populations which must include writing reports and assessing information to make decisions or recommendations
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field AND
1 year of experience working with vulnerable populations which must include writing reports and assessing information to make decisions or recommendations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Conducts internal program reviews, including but not limited to, reviews of systems and services impacting service recipient health, safety and quality of life.
Utilizes data from reviews to track metrics and identify trends and quality improvements.
Prepares reports related to survey and review activities, shares findings with program leadership.
Verifies implementation of quality improvement and corrective measures
Identifies deficits, errors and breakdowns during Quality Assurance activities and recommends improvements to program administration and the Director of Quality Assurance
Maintains a working knowledge of regulations, best practices and agency policies
Serves as a resource in providing education and training on quality assurance and improvement activities.
Develops and delivers trainings associated with Quality Improvement
Additional Requirements:
A valid NYS driver's license, daily access to a vehicle and driving record acceptable to the agency insurance carrier's standards are required.
