About the Role
Eye Am Captain is an independent music project preparing to release new music and build a dedicated audience. We are looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Artist Growth & Operations Manager to help build our online presence, create engaging content, and develop systems for long-term audience growth.
This role is ideal for someone who loves music, understands social media, enjoys creating content, and wants to help build an artist brand from the ground up.
You will work directly with the artist to capture content, manage social platforms, develop growth strategies, and help turn music releases into opportunities to connect with fans.
Primary Focus: Social Media & Content Growth (80%)
- Film and capture content with the artist, including studio sessions, behind-the-scenes moments, performances, and daily creative process.
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
- Develop content ideas that showcase the music, personality, story, and brand.
- Manage Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and future platforms.
- Schedule and maintain a consistent content calendar.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, and help build an authentic fan community.
- Monitor analytics and identify what content is performing well.
- Stay current with social media trends and opportunities for audience growth.
Artist Growth Operations (20%)
- Help organize music release campaigns and promotional timelines.
- Create systems for managing content, assets, and marketing tasks.
- Research new AI tools and technology that improve content creation and efficiency.
- Help coordinate photographers, videographers, designers, and other creative partners.
- Assist with release checklists and keeping projects moving forward.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience creating and managing social media content.
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form videos.
- Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and current content trends.
- Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Creative thinker who can turn ideas into engaging content.
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Passionate about music and helping independent artists grow.
