Job Summary
We are a busy out patient mental health practice that is looking to add a part time Nurse Practitioner to our team (FNP or PMHNP). Ideally someone who is able to work with adolescences through adulthood. This position will be new, but has been something we have been working towards for some time. Healing Steps Counseling was established in 2017, and we have grow as a out patient mental health practice that would like to add medication managements as another option for our clients. We have an office in Lehi as well as Payson.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed patient assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic interviews.
- Develop and implement patient assessments and individualized treatment plans that align with best practice.
- Provide medication management to patients, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, discharge planning, and follow-up services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner license with certification as either Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Current DEA registration
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Ability to work with adolescence is a plus
- Current DEA registration
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-center care.

Pay: $100.00 - $120.00 per hour
