The Ford Agency is actively working with a well-regarded DC law firm in their search for a professional Conflicts Law Clerk. This role will conduct high level conflicts analysis and work closely with colleagues to move clients through the conflicts process. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced law clerk with strong analytical, research, and writing skills who is looking to join a fast-paced and collaborative team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Distill complex conflicts data and break down legal issues into logical summaries
- Assist with maintaining conflicts database, managing firm clients, clients' subsidiaries, and affiliates' information
- Maintain documentation of conflicts resolutions
- Coordinate with global offices on compliance
Qualifications Include:
- Law degree from accredited institution
- 2+ years firm experience
- Familiarity with DC Rules of Professional Conduct or equivalent from other jurisdictions
- Advanced legal research and analytical skills
- Professional writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with Intapp OPEN or similar
Compensation:
- $94,000 - $115,000 annually
Candidates for this position must be based in the DMV, New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles. Salary is dependent on experience and location.
