What You'll Do
As a Pastry Cook, you'll assist in preparing a wide variety of desserts and baked goods while learning professional pastry techniques in a fast-paced event environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing pastries, cookies, desserts, breads, and specialty baked goods.
- Assisting with plated desserts for weddings, corporate events, and private functions.
- Preparing fillings, mousses, custards, batters, doughs, frostings, and other pastry components.
- Decorating and finishing desserts according to presentation standards.
- Following recipes accurately while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Assisting with daily production schedules and event preparation.
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the pastry kitchen.
- Receiving and organizing deliveries and assisting with inventory.
- Working collaboratively with the culinary team during event execution.
- Continuing to develop professional pastry skills through hands-on mentorship.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous bakery, pastry, or kitchen experience.
- Culinary or pastry school education is a plus.
- Experience preparing desserts, pastries, breads, or specialty baked goods.
- Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or banquet experience is preferred.

Schedule
This position may be hired as either Full-Time or Part-Time, depending on the needs of the business and the successful candidate.
Part-Time
- Approximately 15–30 hours per week.
- Weekend availability required.
- Additional hours available during peak event seasons.
Full-Time
- Approximately 35–40 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
