Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director to lead our educational programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration and experience working with students in a higher education setting. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of academic strategies that enhance student learning and success while fostering an inclusive and engaging educational environment.
Duties
- Design and teach an inquiry-based STEM curriculum for Grades K–8
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
- Incorporate robotics, coding, and engineering design challenges
- Oversee curriculum development and ensure it meets academic standards and student needs.
- Manage STEM Lab resources, makerspace tools, and technology
- Lead school-wide STEM events and co-teach 8th Grade Earth Science Regents prep
- Foster partnerships with external organizations to enhance educational opportunities for students.

Qualifications
- Teaching experience in Science/ STEM required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ STEM required
- Master's Degree in Science/ STEM, is a plus/ preferred
- NYS Teaching Certification (7–12) in Science
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, demonstrating a commitment to student success.
- Leadership experience or degree is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
