The E-Commerce Team Member is responsible for researching, testing, listing, photographing, and shipping a variety of donated items—with a strong focus on electronics. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong product knowledge, and the ability to creatively market items to maximize their value online.
This position works closely with the E-Commerce Leadership team to drive sales, improve processes, and elevate the department’s success.

- Evaluate, test, and identify a wide range of electronics (audio equipment, gaming systems, computers, accessories, etc.)

Research specifications, compatibility, and market value to ensure accurate listings

Identify high-value or specialty electronics to maximize return
- Write clear, compelling, and accurate product descriptions

Take high-quality photos that showcase items effectively

Research unknown items quickly and accurately

Follow all listing protocols before, during, and after auctions

Interpret and follow safety rules and procedure manuals
- Package items safely and efficiently to ensure secure delivery

Choose cost-effective packaging methods

Maintain accuracy by double-checking items before shipment

Manage customer service tickets from online shoppers

Track shipping materials and request supplies as needed

Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Strong knowledge and interest in electronics (required)

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Computer experience required (typing, internet use, Microsoft Office)

Experience with online marketplaces or auction sites is a plus
