Each One Teach One Childcare & Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Group Supervisor to join our Toddler Program, serving children ages 1–2.

This position includes classroom support and floating responsibilities, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, works well with different teaching teams, and is comfortable stepping in wherever support is needed.
Responsibilities
Toddler Care & Development
- Assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where toddlers feel comfortable learning and exploring.
- Encourage language development, independence, self-help skills, and positive social interactions.
- Build positive and professional relationships with children and families.
- Observe and respond appropriately to each child's individual needs.
Classroom Support & Supervision
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering, toileting, transitions, rest time, indoor activities, and outdoor play.
- Maintain active supervision and ensure the health and safety of children at all times.
- Support the Group Supervisor with daily classroom operations and routines.
- Take the lead in the classroom when the Group Supervisor is absent.
- Provide guidance and support to classroom aides and additional support staff when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Follow all Pennsylvania DHS regulations, center policies, and health and safety procedures.
Center-Wide Support
- Float between classrooms as needed to provide staff coverage and maintain required child-to-staff ratios.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding children's needs and classroom operations.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, professional development, and center events.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet Pennsylvania DHS qualifications for an Assistant Group Supervisor and meet at least one of the following:
- High school diploma or GED plus 30 college credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or a related human services field.
- High school diploma or GED plus 600 or more hours of secondary training.
- High school diploma or GED plus 15 college credit hours in a related field and at least one year of experience working with children.
- High school diploma or GED plus completion of an approved post-secondary training curriculum.
- High school diploma or GED plus at least two years of experience working with children.
Candidates must also be able to complete all required clearances, health assessments, and training required by Pennsylvania DHS and Each One Teach One.
