Coordinate and supervise the work of dietary staff, including nurses, servers, and cooking staff
Ensure compliance with dietary regulations, policies, and guidelines
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for food service operations
Manage department budgets and inventory, making effective decisions to maintain cost control and efficiency
Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and housekeeping, to ensure smooth integration of services and promote effective communication
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and develop training programs for dietary staff
Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs related to food service operations, including patient diets, menu planning, and inventory management
