We are partnering with a well-established organization to identify a Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis

Support cost accounting functions, including inventory and standard costing

Analyze manufacturing costs and track production-related financial data

Partner with operations and production teams to improve financial visibility

Utilize advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Exposure to cost accounting, inventory, or standard costing is highly preferred

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus
-
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
