Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality patient care in a Medical Spa Setting. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments and personalized treatment plans.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
- Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Assist in clinical research initiatives and participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care standards.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification from recognized boards such as NCCPA or state licensing boards.
- Demonstrated experience working in outpatient clinics.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms; experience with medical documentation and CPT coding is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with procedures like venipuncture (phlebotomy), dermal fillers or esthetic laser treatments preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with patients.
