Analyst

The Analyst is responsible for leading and coordinating qualification cost savings initiatives for the Procurement Team. Some of the key responsibilities are leading and coordinating documentation requirements for savings projects between suppliers and sites, coordinating and leading sample evaluations for savings projects across sites, leading data initiatives like tariff code collection or tariff refunds. This role serves as a key liaison between Operations, Quality, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and customers to ensure product specifications are accurate, compliant, and production-ready.
- Coordinate and lead documentation requirements to successfully implement savings projects.
- Coordinate and lead sample requirements to successfully implement savings projects.
Maintain specification databases and document management systems.
- Partner with Regulatory and Quality teams to verify ingredient, allergen, nutritional, and labeling information.
- Investigate and resolve specification discrepancies.
- Generate reports and metrics related to specification accuracy and change management.
- Support customer, internal, and third-party audits as required.
- Influence suppliers to accelerate the speed of implementations for savings
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- 0-2+ years of experience in specifications, quality, regulatory, document control, manufacturing, or related discipline preferred.
- Experience in food, dietary supplement, personal care, or contract manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Primarily office-based work with occasional production floor exposure. Ability to sit, stand, walk, use a computer, and review detailed documentation for extended periods.
