Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Answer phone calls promptly, taking reservations and providing information about the menu and specials.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and customer relations.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a friendly demeanor towards guests and staff alike.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
