The M365 Automation Developer designs, develops, enhances, tests, deploys, and sustains Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure-connected, and custom business solutions. This role focuses on SharePoint Online, SPFx, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, workflow modernization, reporting, and user-facing business applications.
Will be required to go onsite in Washington, DC
Position Responsibilities

Develop and sustain SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework, Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and M365-based solutions.

Translate business requirements into secure, maintainable, user-focused solutions.

Implement application enhancements, custom solutions, dashboards, workflows, forms, reports, and modernization activities.
-
Support requirements refinement, user-story development, acceptance criteria, technical feasibility assessments, and process-improvement recommendations.

Conduct functional testing, integration testing, defect correction, UAT support, release readiness support, and post-deployment validation.

Maintain solution documentation, technical designs, release notes, user support materials, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Coordinate with PM/BA, Sr. DBA, Systems Engineers, RMF Specialist, and Government stakeholders to deliver and sustain mission applications

Ability to develop SharePoint Online, SPFx, Power Platform, Azure-integrated, and Microsoft 365 business solutions.

Ability to support sustainment and modernization of existing applications and business processes.

Ability to develop reports, dashboards, workflows, forms, user productivity solutions, and process automation.

Ability to work within controlled release, configuration, documentation, and testing processes.

Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, data analytics, engineering, or related technical discipline

8+ years total IT/program experience
- 5+ years of experience in Federal or DoD IT programs
-
3 years of experience with SharePoint developer and Power Platform developer experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud environments.

Experience with Azure administration and development concepts.
-
Experience with SharePoint Framework, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, PL-400.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AZ-204.
-
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.

Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.

Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.
-
Security+ or equivalent DoD 8140/IAT II certification.

Experience with Federal, DoD, SharePoint, Power Platform, and M365 modernization projects.
