We are hiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a long-term project in New Mexico, near the Santa Teresa / El Paso area.
This is a travel-friendly contract role offering strong hours, daily per diem, and long-term stability.
Pay and schedule:
- $40 per hour
- $140 per day per diem
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
- Expected schedule: 10 hours per day, 6 days per week
- Long-term contract, expected around 2 years
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on a large commercial/industrial project
- Work with conduit, cable tray, panels, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, terminations, grounding, and related systems
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Follow site safety procedures and support high-quality installation work
- Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and project teams on daily work packages
Requirements:
- Current New Mexico Journeyman Electrician license required
- Commercial, industrial, data center, solar, oil & gas, or large-project electrical experience preferred
- Comfortable traveling to New Mexico for a long-term project
- Able to work 10-hour days, 6 days per week
- Able to complete background checks and site onboarding
- OSHA 10/30, lift certifications, and instrumentation experience are a plus
