Job Summary:
As a Private Duty Caregiver with Changing Tides Home Care, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Our caregivers are essential service providers who support their clients with activities that keep them independent and prevent them from needing to move into high-risk facilities. With minimal contact with others, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with your clients and make a lasting impact on their lives.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, personalized care to clients in their homes
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Encourage independence and engagement in activities of daily living
Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate effectively with family members and other caregivers
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:
1-year Caregiver/Geriatric experience
CNA, NA, and/or PCA license/certificate issued from the State of Virginia
Ability to Pass Background Check and Drug Screening
Negative TB results within 30 days of Hire
Clean driving record
Active CPR/First Aid card
Reliable Vehicle and Valid Driver’s License (including valid auto insurance/registration)
Positive attitude, good critical thinking skills, and good communication skills
