Dolan Dental is looking for a dependable, motivated, and patient-focused Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.
In this role, you will be assigned to work alongside one designated doctor, following that doctor's schedule to ensure continuity of care and a seamless patient experience.
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Hours vary based on your designated doctor's schedule
- Monday–Thursday
- Rotating Fridays
- Rotating Saturdays (September through May)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
- Take and process digital dental radiographs
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Record accurate clinical notes and treatment information
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain an organized, efficient clinical environment
- Work closely with the doctor and team to ensure an outstanding patient experience
- Utilize Dentrix practice management software and DEXIS digital imaging software
Required Qualifications:
- Current Dental X-Ray License (Required)
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols
- Experience with Dentrix and DEXIS is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
