The Opportunity
Technical Source is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a long-term, onsite contract assignment in the greater Indianapolis, IN area supporting a large-scale advanced manufacturing capital project. This is a high-visibility role on a major industrial build, with significant runway as the program expands. The PM will own day-to-day construction execution for assigned scopes — driving schedule, budget, quality, and safety across general contractors and trade partners in a fast-paced, high-accountability field environment.
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage construction execution for assigned scopes, driving schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance from mobilization through closeout.
-
Serve as the onsite point of accountability for general contractors and trade partners, holding them to contractual scope, schedule milestones, and quality standards.
-
Develop, maintain, and report against detailed project schedules; proactively identify critical-path risks and drive recovery plans.
-
Own budget management for assigned scopes — tracking commitments, forecasting cost-to-complete, reviewing pay applications, and managing change orders.
-
Lead and document project meetings, coordinate field activities, and resolve constructability and interface conflicts between disciplines.
-
Champion a zero-incident safety culture and ensure contractor compliance with site EHS requirements.
-
Coordinate closely with engineering, commissioning/qualification, and project stakeholders to align construction with downstream turnover needs.
-
Manage RFIs, submittals, and field changes; maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
-
Drive timely, organized project closeout including punch list, as-builts, and turnover packages.
Required Qualifications
-
8–10 years of progressive construction project management experience.
-
Demonstrated experience managing or leading construction on large-scale capital projects in the $100M+ range.
-
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field — or equivalent field experience.
-
Strong command of construction scheduling, budgeting/cost control, and change management.
-
Proven ability to manage general contractors and multiple trade partners in a fast-paced field environment.
-
Working knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA) and a track record of enforcing strong EHS performance.
-
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.

Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, P6, MS Project, Bluebeam).
-
Ability to be onsite full-time in Lebanon, IN for the duration of the engagement.

Experience on greenfield or large industrial manufacturing builds.
-
PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification.
