Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Details:
- Full-time contract spanning the 2026-2027 academic year, from August 24, 2026, to June 11, 2027
- Immediate need for four interpreters to serve multiple schools in the Rosenburg and Douglas areas
- All work is onsite, fostering collegial relationships and direct student engagement
- Caseload includes a range of grades, providing variety and professional growth opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Oregon Sign Language Interpreter certification/licensure is required
- Demonstrated experience interpreting in educational environments or with K-12 students is highly valued
- Flexibility to adapt communication to varying student needs and classroom settings
- Strong collaboration skills to coordinate effectively with general and special education staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language and classroom content for deaf and hard-of-hearing students across various grade levels
- Facilitate accessible communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive educational experience by fostering clear two-way communication
