What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day body shop operations and workflow
- Schedule and assign repair work to technicians
- Monitor repair quality, cycle time, and productivity
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate repair updates
- Prepare and review estimates and supplements
- Work closely with insurance adjusters and vendors
- Maintain proper inventory and order necessary parts and materials
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate body shop staff
- Monitor department profitability, labor sales, and expenses
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist in developing marketing and customer retention strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in collision repair and body shop management preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of estimating systems and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with insurance claims processes
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- I-CAR or ASE certifications are a plus
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control
- Proficient with computers and shop management software
- Strong understanding of repair timelines and efficiency
