Position Summary
Somerset Fire Alarm & Security, LLC is seeking a highly organized, outgoing, and energetic Administrative Assistant to directly support the President of the company.
This role is focused on keeping the President engaged, organized, connected, and productive through strong scheduling, communication, and relationship management. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable representing the company professionally both in and outside the office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the President’s daily schedule, appointments, and meetings
- Coordinate attendance at networking events, trade shows, business functions, and community activities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
- Assist with email management and follow-up communications
- Coordinate travel, calendars, reminders, and meeting logistics
- Work alongside the Marketing Executive on public relations efforts and company visibility
- Help identify networking and growth opportunities for company leadership
- Assist in planning company events, meetings, and customer engagement activities
- Maintain professionalism and strong communication with clients, vendors, and business partners
- Support executive projects and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and confident personality
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Comfortable interacting with executives, customers, and community leaders
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and scheduling platforms
- Previous administrative or executive support experience preferred
Requirements
- Willingness to attend occasional evening events and networking functions
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
