American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Epic experience and an active WA license for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center in Washington state.

Short-term acute care hospital with 629 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center

Teaching hospital setting

RRT unit with responsibilities spanning floor care, ER, code response, and Rapid Response
-
Floating between units and all facilities within the state is required — refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
-
Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00

Every other weekend required
-
Block scheduling required
-
Patient ratios dependent on patient acuity
-
No on-call required
-
Charting via Epic (required)
-
No parking fee
-
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
-
Active Washington state RRT license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable

Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT

Epic EMR experience required
-
Experience with floor care, ER, code response, and Rapid Response required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Respond to codes and Rapid Response calls as part of daily responsibilities

Scrubs: any color permitted for RRT staff

Former permanent employees of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
