Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the assigned Receiving, Picking, Packing, and Shipping activities in the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items in the appropriate locations
- Pick products, pack orders, load and create shipping labels.
- Palletizing, pulling orders, operating forklift.
- Audits products picked for accuracy and routes to the proper departments for final processing.
- Provides support for all areas of the operation.
- Picking and packing orders accurately and on time.
- Packing and shipping orders to meet customer specific requirements.
- Operate a RF Scan Gun.
- Wrap, weight and count pallets of product for shipping or storage.
- Adhering to all ISO processes and work instructions.
- Operating equipment in a safe manner.
- Work as part of team.
- Maintain good housekeeping and organization in the facility
- Ensure that all operations employees are properly trained in their work responsibilities
- Manage productivity of all operations employees
- Promote a team environment throughout all areas of the operation
- Verify all ISO processes and work instructions are current and being followed
- Manage timekeeping system for all hourly employees
- Ensure that all the safety measures specified by the state are met
- Ensure transparency in communications with employees and management
- Manage and coordinate all building and equipment maintenance
Produce weekly and monthly metric data to senior management as directed
Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or 3 years related experience (Warehouse, Shipping, Assembly, Supply Chain Management) and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have experience operating a stand-up order picker or dock stocker.
