Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to join our team! As a key member of our dietary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the team responsible for the service and execution of daily meals, as well as cleaning and sanitations associated with meal service. Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor a team of 15+ staff members, ensuring compliance with all company and DOH policies
Monitor and delegate all staff jobs and duties to ensure they are being done properly and in accordance with company expectations
Work directly with staff to ensure that all meals start on time and operate smoothly throughout meal services
Assist staff in the cleaning of dishes, pots/pans, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2+ years of healthcare foodservice experience or 3-5 years banquet/catering foodservice experience
Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks
Ability to interact positively and professionally with residents, families, clients, and other personnel in a public setting
ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hired
Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
Willingness to help and support dietary department operations
