In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact during the night shift, managing front desk responsibilities, verifying guest accounts, and maintaining the safety and security of the property. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with late check-ins or early check-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for all visitors.
- Manage the front desk during overnight hours, handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy while providing accurate information to guests and staff.
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring all charges are accurate and properly posted in the hotel management system.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including financial summaries, incident logs, and guest feedback to ensure operational continuity.
- Monitor security systems such as CCTV cameras and perform regular patrols of public areas to maintain safety standards.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or concerns related to room accommodations, amenities, or hotel services with a friendly and solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues that arise during the night shift, ensuring a clean, safe, and hospitable environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and resolving issues efficiently.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette skills with experience managing multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems and basic accounting procedures for nightly audits.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
