Job Summary
We are looking to add Asphalt Laborers to our growing construction team. This role involves hands-on work with asphalt paving, general labor tasks, and supporting a variety of contracting projects—including work in and around active rail yards.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with asphalt paving tasks such as spreading and leveling material
- Support equipment operators and learn basic heavy equipment functions over time
- Help with job site setup, cleanup, and material handling
- Work on various contracting projects, including rail yard environments
- Load and unload materials and keep work areas organized
- Follow safety procedures and always wear required PPE
- Work with your team to complete daily tasks efficiently
Basic Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to wear all required PPE at all times
- Flexibility to work in different environments, including rail yards, and in busy traffic
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and job conditions
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliability and a strong work ethic (show up ready to work every day)
Experience & Pay
- Pay is based on experience and skill level
- Experienced laborers and equipment operators will receive higher pay
- Paver operators and highly skilled equipment operators will be expected to discuss and negotiate compensation based on experience and ability
