Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, physical activities, and age-appropriate lessons aligned with preschool standards.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and emotional development.
- Manage daily classroom activities to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior management.
- Assess each child's progress through observations, standardized testing where applicable, and ongoing evaluations to tailor instruction effectively.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and progress updates.
- Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences when appropriate.
- Support children with special education needs by adapting lessons and providing individualized attention to promote inclusive learning.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting; prior classroom management experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education standards, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or math for young learners.
- Experience with toddler care, literacy education, and working with students requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to manage a classroom efficiently while fostering a positive learning environment through structured routines and creative activities.
