The Crab Pot Bellevue is a Pacific Northwest seafood institution known for fresh catches, bold flavors, and a high-energy dining experience. We're looking for a skilled, dependable line cook who thrives under pressure and takes pride in putting out great food every single service.
Role overview
We are looking for a skilled line cook ready to own their station during service — executing dishes with speed, consistency, and precision. You'll work directly with the kitchen leadership team and are expected to come ready to cook from day one. This is a hands-on, high-output role for someone who loves being in the thick of it.
Responsibilities
- Execute all dishes on your assigned station accurately and to standard during service
- Complete all required prep work before service, including portioning, butchering, and mise en place
- Maintain proper cooking temperatures, timing, and plating consistency on every plate
- Keep your station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift
- Communicate ticket times and any issues clearly with the expeditor and fellow line cooks
- Follow all food safety, allergen awareness, and sanitation protocols at all times
- Assist with closing duties including deep cleaning, labeling, and proper food storage
- Support teammates across stations during rushes as needed
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Experience with seafood preparation strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of knife skills, heat control, and cooking techniques
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient during a busy service
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Washington state food handler's card (or ability to obtain before start date)
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for the duration of a full shift
- Comfortable working in a hot, fast-moving kitchen environment
