Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft box truck to deliver appliances and furniture across designated routes.
- Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their deliveries, answering questions professionally, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while maintaining safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, utilizing manual lifting techniques or mechanical aids like pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery logs, route sheets, and any required paperwork.
Requirements
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred.
- Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving appliances and furniture regularly.
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus; certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks is preferred; strong driving skills essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions for load & unload procedures and route driving.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per week
