Job title: CNC Trainee - Machining
Pay: $20.70/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM–5:00 AM (overtime available and may be required)
Duration: Long-term
Requirements:
Must pass background and drug screen and provide a high school diploma or GED.
Job Summary:
The CNC Machinist Trainee will learn to produce machined parts by setting up, operating, and editing CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety standards, records, and equipment.
Responsibilities:

Train on CNC operations, programming, and machining processes

Interpret work orders, blueprints, and GD&T specifications

Plan stock needs and verify materials

Program and edit mills and lathes, including offsets and tool settings

Set up machines, load materials, and verify first-run parts

Perform machining operations such as drilling, cutting, and threading

Measure parts, troubleshoot issues, and adjust processes as needed

Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow quality procedures

Perform basic maintenance and document production activities
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Strong math, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
Preferred:

Associate’s or vocational training in CNC or related field with 1–2 years experience

Or 3–5 years of equivalent experience
