LA-based indie production team seeking a Co-Producer for a stylized, no-budget comedy short.
The project is a fast-paced, highly visual 5-page short about a neurotic insomniac navigating life in a surreal, slapstick zombie-sleepwalking state. The tone is visual, physical, and comedic, with minimal dialogue.
Shoot Dates: Two consecutive weekend days in late July, with a few half-days before hand
Location: Los Angeles
Commitment: 2-day shoot
We're looking to bring a resourceful Co-Producer who has an interest in capturing a visually rich story utilizing rehearsal and pre-planning strategies. Think ''The Graduate'', visually, but on a much smaller scale. Everyone on board has a can do attitude and hopefully that's you as well.
This is a fast-paced 5 page comedy, revolving around a neurotic protagonist in a zombie sleepwalking state but with some slapstick comedy. It's heavily visual to convey the comedy of operating on no sleep. Our past short films have been featured in previous film festivals but due to the quirky nature of the story, minimal dialogue and universal relatability to insomnia. It's a hybrid comedy and thriller. If that sounds appealing then do respond.
Looking for a Co-Producer that has a desire to work on an organized production, wants to add a strikingly visual film to their resume, might have to access to either locations or some sound equipment and is up for the challenge.
