Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations with pet owners.
- Review each patient's medical history and current concerns.
- Perform clinical assessments based on the information available during the consultation.
- Exercise independent professional judgment to determine whether treatment is appropriate.
- Prescribe medications or therapies when clinically indicated and permitted under applicable laws and regulations.
- Educate clients on treatment plans, follow-up care, and ongoing wellness recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all consultations.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active veterinary license in good standing.
- Eligibility to practice veterinary telemedicine in accordance with applicable laws and professional regulations.
- Excellent communication and client education skills.
- Comfortable using telemedicine technology and electronic medical records.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for helping build an innovative company.
