We are currently looking for an experienced and proficient individual to join our Fixed Based Operations team. Ideal candidates for this position are self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Under the direction of the Fixed Based Operations Manager, The Line Service Technician (LST) attends to all service needs as they relate to based and transient aircraft, catering to the needs of the aircraft owners, guests, and crews. The Line Service Technician maintains a high-degree of safety and customer satisfaction by providing front-line customer service through aircraft and facility support. While a LST’s main job duties are focused upon the technical services provided to the aircraft (fueling, towing, parking, etc.), exceptional customer service skills are absolutely vital for the successful completion of this role. The LST ensures that every arriving /departing aircraft receives all ground support services in a timely fashion with high energy and a smile.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in both an indoor and outdoor environment. Exposure to dangerous machinery, extreme weather conditions, excessive noise, and wildlife. May be required to climb ladders; work in trenches; and in confined spaces. You may be required to stand and/or walk, stoop, and bend for long periods. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds. Exposure to wide temperature variations, noise vibrations, fumes, grease, machinery and its moving parts, odors, and dust. Must be able to see and hear in the normal range with or without correction, communicate verbally, and must be able to be understood. The incumbent will be required to respond to emergencies after regular working hours and on weekends and must be willing to work an irregular schedule, which may include weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or varying shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduation from high school OR GED equivalent
- Language Skills - Ability to read, comprehend and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Effectively communicate verbally, in writing and in English.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, area and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

- Certificates/Licenses: Valid Wyoming Drivers License.

DUTIES
- Marshal, park, greet, tow, wing-walk, fuel and provide various services including lavatory and water services to general aviation aircraft.
- Safely operate fuel trucks, tugs, forklifts and service vehicles. Report any unsafe, broken equipment to your supervisor.
- Responsible for fuel delivery ensuring the correct fuel type is delivered and quantity is as requested.
- Supply oil, nitrogen, and oxygen services for aircraft.
- Provide service by loading and unloading of baggage/cargo to/from aircraft.
- Perform aircraft services such as disposing of lavatory waste and servicing potable water.
- Furnish ground service functions such as providing electrical power and operating the air start cart.
- Light aircraft cleaning.
- Properly dispose of waste fuels and oils.
- Responsible for general cleanliness of hangars, equipment, ramp areas, and customer areas.
- Act as Dedicated Ramp Observer for all military operations and provide support as required
- Maintain airport in accordance with Federal, State and Local codes, requirements, rules, and regulations
- Maintain aircraft hangars and FBO lobby, restrooms, and conference rooms
- Document fueling operations accounting for all types of fuel dispensed and sold, including vehicles, equipment, and aircraft
- Perform fuel farm inspections and fuel quality checks as required
- Ensure all fuel dispensing vehicles are filled, stocked, and prepared safely for fueling operations
- Perform customer service functions such a baggage handling, courtesy transportation, and trash removal
- Maintain airport security procedures and safely follow any instructions given by Air Traffic Control When operation on the airfield
- On call every 5-6 weeks
- Maintain and exhibit a strong knowledge of proper safety procedures and situational awareness.
- Follow oral and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties and training in an allotted time period as well as maintain good working relationships with the team.
- Frequent use of a two-way radio to communicate effectively.
- Perform daily and monthly fuel truck safety inspections. Ensure vehicles are in safe operating order and running properly.
- Perform routine daily and monthly equipment safety inspections. Ensures all equipment is in safe and proper working order.
- Escort various private and company personnel unfamiliar with the airport grounds as requested to ensure safety compliance.
- Assist with daily fuel farm inspections including performing pre-loading and quality control inspections.
- Review updated operations manuals for various aircraft as needed.
- Adhere to all procedures for safety and security.
- Must be physically present to work as member of the team to serve customers, visitors and staff who may need unscheduled assistance. Flexibility with work schedules is required as well as the ability to work in ever changing weather conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a valid Wyoming “C” class driver’s license or the ability to obtain by the date of hire and maintain throughout the length of employment
- May require the ability to obtain a Wyoming “B” class Commercial driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain an airport access badge with driving privileges within thirty days of employment
- Must be able to pass a security background check
- Ability to pass alcohol and drug screening and random drug screenings while employed
