Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems, providing accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Check guests in and out efficiently while maintaining accurate records of all transactions
- Assist guests with special requests, including room changes, concierge services, and emergency procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared to high standards
- Address guest concerns promptly using customer service problem-solving skills, escalating issues when necessary to hotel management
- Maintain detailed shift reports, incident logs, and communication records to ensure seamless operations
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and provide exceptional guest services through clear client communication
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management software (PMS)
- Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred to assist diverse guest populations effectively
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest safety protocols is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and handling phone communication professionally
- Previous resort experience or hotel experience emphasizing guest services is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry
