In order to create a pool of qualified applicants, Columbia Basin College (CBC) accepts applications for adjunct faculty to teach course offerings throughout the year. Applications are kept in the pool through the duration of the academic school year.
Instructional Rate: $72.72 - $72.72 per hour
Non-Instructional Rate: $50.00 - $50.00 per hour
Meeting Rate: $30.00 - $30.00 per hour
If work is performed outside of instruction, it will be paid at the non-instructional rate of $50.00 per hour or the meeting rate of $30.00 per hour.
The Theatre Arts Department is seeking applicants for an Adjunct Instructor. This position will include teaching in-person and/or hybrid instruction for Theatre Arts courses as needed by the department. Adjunct faculty provide instruction for 11-week courses (Fall, Winter, Spring) and/or 8-week courses (Summer). There is no guarantee of continued employment beyond the quarter course assignment. Applicants with the appropriate qualifications may be considered for additional classes.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to student success, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students. They will demonstrate flexibility in meeting the instructional and general responsibilities of their course assignment, including the effective use of diverse learning resources and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
