This is a weird job posting and I am only making it because I am not sure how else to solve my issue. I will describe the business and what I am looking for out of this job posting, and you can decide if this is worth pursuing. For 99% of people this is not worth pursuing, and honestly if I were searching for a job, I would laugh at this listing.
What this really may be better described as is a hobby opportunity. I run a firearm accessory company that I run entirely out of my house, I have a business partner who does the CAD work, and I do everything else. We have been pretty successful riding the current wave of firearm accessories, if you know you know, and we make good products.
The biggest issue with the company is where you'd come in:
Marketing. I am not interested in social media personally and I have no creative bones in my body. I am looking for someone who has an actual interest in firearms, but isn't cringe about it. The perfect person wants to be a content creator but has no reason to create content. Let me give you a reason.
========THE PAY===========
The pay is the kicker and the worst part of the entire thing. I cannot guarantee you any amount of money, but what I can guarantee you is a contract that will entitle you to a percentage of profits from proven traffic converted from channels you are in charge of... Which other than our Reddit account, will be practically everything. I am not going to lie to you and tell you we do $1m a year, it is currently about $75k last year and we are at $80k so far this year, so it is rapidly growing.
This entire thing is very weird and I don't know how to give any more information.
This is not a job that someone should do as their only gig. I think a freelancer who wants to become a partner at a company would be the best candidate. I am a serial entrepreneur and would love to use the skills of the right person for other companies I create in the future. It would be more of a long term partnership, so I would want to mesh with the person to.
